Why We Ride
If psychedelics have positively impacted your life, we invite you to come out of the psychedelic closet. We're taking to the streets in the name of psychedelics to advocate for accessibility, destigmatize the conversation, and build momentum for the movement.

On April 19, 1943, Swiss chemist Albert Hofmann took the first intentional LSD trip and rode his bicycle home through Basel. Every year since, Bicycle Day has honored that moment. Now in its 2nd year, Portal's Ride to Destigmatize brings together thousands of riders in cities around the world to push the psychedelic movement forward, advocate for safe and legal access, and build a more conscious and connected future.
